Sea world and the San Diego zoo are definitely the top two most popular attractions. Other than that, there's nice boating (especially in la jolla).. Did you check out the wiki?

Hard to answer. Depends what you like. And you can go but just know you won't see it all, which is ok.

If you really like zoos it's supposed to be one of the best. Personally I don't enjoy zoos so I don't enjoy the SD one either

Aren't seaworld and the zoo virtually identical? Ok so seaworld has the shamu show and a flume, and the zoo has a little more variety of animals. But other than that...

That's like saying it's the exact same thing going to a baseball game or a concert. There both entertainment events.
The zoo and seaworld couldn't be more different.
the zoo is like any standard zoo, just huge and with a lot more cool animals.
seaworld is an amusement park. It has shows and rides. The shows happen to (sometimes) include animals in the water

the shows are centered around animals
dont make it sound like every time you go to a show you get lucky and animals appear

I'm just saying. It's not like going to the zoo. The point is to entertain you, not just show you animals.
