its a garbage lounge packed to the gills due to ek temporarily closing theirs + they frequently deny entry to PP holders due to overcrowding

Some flights aren't cancelable even within 24hrs, when booked less than 7 days prior to departure.
Who cares about laying out, are you using a debit card?

I was at EWR for my GE interview and stopped by the Art & Lounge. Here is a quick non update:

It still has the feel of a Bikur Cholim room. Decent coffee, basic kosher food around El Al flights. Cold beer is nice. Feels quite worn at this point. The staff seems pretty miserable to be there. Not bad to drop in to, but nothing special.

Did you have a same day flight? Did they ask for boarding pass? Curious if its accessible while waiting at the terminal to pick up someone arriving. Thanks.

IME they asked for a boarding pass, to which I said I didn't have, and they said I'd would suffice

Stopped by "the lounge" at BOS. You can get in using Priority Pass and it's very conveniently located right next to the Jetblue gates. Some packaged kosher food, good drinks. Pretty decent in my opinion. Here are my pics:
