Any ideas for saving $ when taking a 2-year old into centurion lounges post-feb 1? We can't spend 75k on the card in that amount of time, I don't think. Any data points as to how strict Amex will be checking kids' ages? We have 3 lounges we'll be visiting on our mid-feb trip, and I'd love to not have to drop $90 on it! tia.

im sure this is old news to most, but jfk terminal 4 wingtips lounge closed. prime class and air india lounges (priority pass access) are both gross, rather not go into either.

I’m asking as the EWR-IAD leg is only in first.

I couldn't find the official rule, but a few weeks ago I flew EWR-IAD-FRA and EWR Polaris let me in no questions asked. My flight to IAD was in economy.

Yup both not great. The Virgin Clubhouse and Delta are still decent options if you have Cap1 / Platinum card.

I think yes- per https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly/travel/airport/united-club-and-lounges/access.html - “Customers in United Polaris business class may access a United Polaris lounge at departure, connecting and arrival airports along their eligible same-day routing”

Delta and Virgin Clubhouse with Amex Plat, plus a bunch of PP lounges.

If you are talking about the PP $28 Restaurant credit, there are none in T4, only T8.

Tried to go into Turkish Lounge at MIA. It was busy but not crazy. The front desk turned us away and said they were not accepting Priority Pass at that time only Statuses. Seemed very odd to me as if they were at capacity don’t the terms require turning everyone away? It felt discriminatory. Has anyone ever been treated the same either at Turkish lounge or in general turned away because of priority pass? Worth complaining to Chase about (I have access through Sapphire Reserve)?

Virgin Clubhouse in JFK T4 tried to turn us away saying rules are changing for Venture X in March?
Then she claimed they are closing soon anyway?
I pushed until they let me in..
