Tried to go into Turkish Lounge at MIA. It was busy but not crazy. The front desk turned us away and said they were not accepting Priority Pass at that time only Statuses. Seemed very odd to me as if they were at capacity don’t the terms require turning everyone away? It felt discriminatory. Has anyone ever been treated the same either at Turkish lounge or in general turned away because of priority pass? Worth complaining to Chase about (I have access through Sapphire Reserve)?
In the beginning of January, a couple of days after New Years, they were only accepting business class when the lounge was crowded.
I saw they use planters peanuts (which usually have an OU.)(I’m sure one would have to check each time they go to make sure they are using kosher peanuts) the pretzels are in a generic bag, so I couldn’t tell if they were kosher. I’ll have to ask next time.
Anybody else know if anything is kosher in the Turkish lounge?
