was at galleries lounge in LHR T5 in April with OW sapphire member and guest but boarding passes weren't scanning on first few attempts, anyway the woman just waived us in - to a very crowded lounge, so IME they don't have very strict gatekeeping..

Is the one guest for one world emerald a hard rule usually? Any experience not being makpid on a 2 year old? Specifically wanting to know about in LHR, either BA or AA.
If they are makpid, is there an option to pay for the baby?

I hear, but thats based off computer failure and the rule is you do get a guest, so she can see the status on your boarding pass and go by that

Does sapphire usually get access to that lounge? Wondering if they bend rules a little for emerald cause thats the highest

I recall it being 2
but reading the terms and conditions here it seems as it's only one

Makes sense, you can only bring in a guest if you’re gaining access to the lounge, if you’re already in the lounge you can’t gain access.. probably just a matter of who is at the front desk.

Maybe get one of them their own membership? (AU)
