It seems that one must go through security again if they are flying from terminal 4 because the lounge at JFK is in terminal 5. Just FYI that that can add an hour, at least.

Generally in Jfk you need to reclear security in each terminal
In fact most times jfk will only let you clear in your terminal...
Additionally  AFIK the only "lounge" in 5 is the be-relax spa.....

Yes that is the case assuming tsa let you through some "officer's" won't let you through unless you are flying from that terminal

Flying Air France out of Newark - received text saying there won't be lounge access; offering vouchers for food and drink instead. Anyone know of a workaround?
