If your doing this for SPG Gold, Don't Bother! SPG Gold is pretty useless & available for free just for asking.

Only reason I asked was because Dan said-
"No argument-For most people AMEX Plat is superior, especially because of the many benefits that come with it such as SPG Gold and lost item protection."

So I figured it wasn't as easy as a simple phonecall.

regardless only amex platinum gives spg gold without phone calls what im referrimg to is the CO pres plus card

If you have the CO pres plus card or a PC membership you can access the Dan lounge in TLV. (That lounge has a great ring to it, no?

actually forget from the continental website "Only the primary cardmember is eligible to receive the benefits of the credit card. The additional cardmember will not receive a Presidents Club membership and will not receive EliteAccess priority services. " oh well

I'm positive about TLV access, here is the full list of PC and affiliated lounges:

AMEX Plat will get you into any branded AA/CO/DL/NW lounge when traveling on that airline that day, but not into their affiliated lounges.

Dan it amazing ever since I've told you that with my Amex Plat I was never asked for my boaring pass, I was asked just about every time since.

Most of the Red Carpet Clubs aint that great compared to CO/DL/AA lounges
Now the international First lounges are good.
