Can anyone please explain to me how this lounge thing works? I have amex platinum and i am right now in phl. my flight is delayed so i wanted to go to the Delta lounge. I am flying on usair Today. The person atthe lounge told me that i must be flying with delta to go into the lounge. Is that true?

yes you need Delta, but did you try the Admirals Club? They let me in on my USAirways ticket, my Amex Plat, and my Avios membership. Family/Mishpocha -- it works.

Wingtips lounge terminal 4 in JFK. Nice with free drinks but not as nice as other lounges I've been to

If I am flying YYZ-TLV, is there a way that I can bring my family (spouse and kids) into the lounge without paying for a day pass for each person? I was thinking about opening up a United Club CC but, according to the Star Alliance terms, it says that the card holder can only guest in one additional person at Star Alliance lounges. I would also consider opening up a Platinum card, but it seems that we would run into a similar issue.

Any suggestions?

Platinum card I believe has family access to the plaza lounge. But it's nothing to exiting that I'd open a card just for that

So would a lounge club card get my whole family in? How do I go about getting the membership? Thanks for the help!

I believe the lounge card has two free passes. Which is only good for two people.

So it's back to the drawing board. Seems like the only way to get whole family access aside from having elite status, is to use a United Lounge with a club card.

it's still good to have some quiet, a plush chair, something to drink, some electrical outlets to recharge laptop/phone, etc...

When adding AU's on IP can they also get a lounge card or is it only for the primary card holder?

Going to Florida with my IYH on JetBlue. Have the US Airways complimentary lounge passes. Is a lounge that accepts it near JetBlue?

It's not so clear -- Which airport are you referring to?
