Any idea how many minutes to security? Is it 5 minutes or a schlep?
I would say 5-10. Just arrive early and give yourself some time.

Okay thanks. My wife doesn't like lounges when she's scared it will delay us getting through security and miss the flight/boarding (esp. with WN boarding process), so I have to know the details before going.

You can always try hanging around an entrance and ask to be guested in.

Even with, she's still nervous. Only feels calm once she's sitting at the gate. She only liked the lounges throughout Europe because the free sodas and sometimes Kosher chips made a world of difference when nothing around you is Kosher.

So don't eat before you go to the airport and don't bring snacks :)

Hahaha Somehow I once convinced her to go to UA lounge in Denver with me, which is an entire train ride away from our terminal and gate. We had a lot of time, so she agreed. Probably did it because she sees how much going to a lounge means to me ::)

Is everything at ART & LOUNGE at EWR kosher or they have some things that are kosher in addition to the coffee and fruits?

So Swiss screwed me on my tickets as they put my 3 year old all by herself 6 rows apart from us and said they couldn't change it. Took me 35 minutes arguing til changed. Good enough to tell Swiss lounge to let me in and keep their customers happy?

Likely not, would have a better chance of getting a pass from check in agent

I tried and the supervisor looked and said "oh, you have united miles. Just keep accumulating those and then at one point you'll be able to go"

You mean the AA Executive I assume?
If so you can get in even when not flying AA.
