Nope. But apparently Dan got in with his United card.

Yes.
I got in showing my United club lounge pass when I was flying United. If your not flying United they won't let you in.

It was only 20 minutes before boarding, so it wasn't so bad. But I sure missed the free beer.

Which credit card gives you access to which lounges? For how long? For how many people?

I'd love to see this added to the wiki for easy reference...

That depends on the lounge.

It would save me thread reading time if I knew that:

1.  AMEX Platinum card gives access to a-b-c lounges included in the "x pass program", allows unlimited free entries for y period of time.

2.  The Ink card gives/gave access to d-e-f lounges in the "z pass program", allowing 2 free passes/year for cardholder only with additional cardholders paying $gh.

3.  United lounges can only be accessed by ...

4.  etc.

Bottom line:  If I want to go to a lounge, I want a quick reference as to how to get in free and then what card I may have or want to get.

Dan wrote a couple of years ago on DDMS about it, it's not updated, but search Dans lounge you should find it somewhere.

I think besides option 1 everything else is the same.

I actually signed up for option 1, but didn't remember the variables, thus the request for a wiki.

Loungebuddy
Sounds great, but need a smartphone for that.  You also have to give them too much personal info for my taste.

I was still looking for more generic program/lounge info, not that I had a particular lounge in mind.

For example?
'Fill out your LoungeBuddy profile with any elite status, lounge memberships, and credit cards, along with your current itinerary, and we do the rest.

I understand why, just not for me. I'd rather have the options from which to choose upfront.

I'm not sure why that's a lot of info. You give them zero personal info. By any chance do you own a bug-out shelter?

::) :D Just personal experience, inside info connecting pieces that others don't want to think about or deal with.

BTW, even though the app may only require generic information, signing up for an account requires personal information.
