I'm Flying British airways out of JFK. Will Amex Plat gain me access to lounge? If not whats my cheapest way in?
Or could anyone talk out my wife of arriving to the airport 2 full hours before take off, like that i d'ont need lounge access at all.  ;)
I don't think there are any free lounges available for Y travelers in T7.

Dear >>>>>>

To maintain and further improve the United Club experience, we're announcing the following change to our program:

Effective August 18, 2016, a same-day boarding pass for all United Club customers, including members, will be required for United Club access.
Two United Club one-time passes are a benefit of your United MileagePlus® Explorer Card. Each pass is valid for one guest for one visit.
Does it need to be a United boarding pass??

Is there a way to use a lounge in JFK if I don't have a ticket (this is for a friend, he has a Platinum card).

Just landed after an Austrian air flight connecting on United and UA wouldn't let me into the lounge. Tried telling her I've never had a problem before and she called a colleague over to confirm.

Walked a few minutes to a different lounge and walked in without a hitch.

If he doesn't have a ticket at all, isn't flying anywhere...is there a way to use the airport lounge?

Has anyone ever got asked for a Boarding Pass or ID when trying to get into the Art & Lounge in EWR with the Priority Pass App. (Can I use someone else's credentials to get in)

In the United app I see 2 UA Clubs in EWR TC, one near gate C74 and the other near gate C120. Which one is nicer?
How long of a walk of either is to gate C98?
TIA
I like vanilla but my name is Venilla.

Yes, it is possible for non-travelers to use the lounge.  You need to call ahead however and the airline will take steps to get you past security.
