As long you are following the rules I dont see the issue. If your moral conscience doesn't allow you to do those types of things thats fine but don't start criticizing people for taking advantage of the rules amex created and could  modify at any time if they choose.
The guy above plainly wasn't "following the rules" when he tried to scam his way into the lounge using someone else's Amex Platinum card.

No, if things are done in the correct way, they don't get cut.
Please. If even 10 percent more people started guesting in two random people every time they used a lounge, the free-guest privileges would disappear quickly. It's not like the guy above was going to sit at the same table as that "nice Asian lady," like a traveling companion would have done. Guesting that guy would have meant one fewer table would have been available to an actual cardholder.

You're missing two different discussion.
1- asking a stranger to guest you in.
2- using someone else's card.

I'm at the Priority Pass Lounge, F Terminal, YYZ right now, having just arrived from EY. There are two other kippot...anyone else around?  Maybe we could daven ma'ariv?  My flight is not for a few hours and there's almost nothing to eat here, though there is scotch, vodka and beer.

I see that there is a delta lounge in terminal D in LGA. It says that Amex platinum card members have access if flying delta. What about if I have a return that day with delta to JFK Will that count or does the flight leaving LGA have to be delta?

I was recently at Pisa Galileo airport, I noticed the lounge there accepted both priority pass and diners club cardholders. Being I have a discover card (which shows a diners club logo), I ignorantly went into the lounge and inquired if they could swipe my card in their machine that logs in the priority pass holders and diners club members. They said no problem but warned me that I may get charged even though the machine is not a credit card processing machine but a separate machine altogether, and they don't know the fees for my foreign card that happens to show a diners club logo. I consented. After she swiped it, it showed up as a valid entry pass but reminded me if she clicks OK I MIGHT be charged an unknown amount. That's when I stopped the transaction and quickly called discover to inquire about this matter. They said they don't have any details and cannot help me. At that point I was getting close to my departure, and just gave up.

Does anyone know if I completed the transaction what charges would show on my card and if Diners Club associated with Discover would have helped in this case? TIA
Make stuff happen.

Thinking of getting the Amex Platinum Business for the lounge access. Travelling with wife. Does Amex business have supplementary cards as well?

I think he was reffering to trying to get into lounges for free not flying.

Does anyone know how strict Wingtips is in JFK T4 with PP members coming in after 5pm? I remember the last time I tried with Lounge Club several years ago, they didn't let me in due to capacity controls. Flying today and leaving early in case of traffic, and hoping to have lounge to go to once I get there.
