Hello everyone,

Here is the situation:
I have a United Club membership. I was in MUC airport with lufthansa ticket to LHR.

I tried to get in twice into a Lufthansa Business Lounge and they denied entry. I wrote to United and they said the same.

I am confused at this point. You can't get access to a Lufthansa lounge with a United Club membership?

Thank you!

JM

A United Club membership will get you into United Clubs, last time I checked LH was not UA.....

United Club membership has reciprocal lounge access with star alliance partners.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Right a to clarify, a United Club Pass will only get you into United Clubs Lounges. However if you fly business or first class and qualify since you're flying a star alliance partner airline then you have access to all those lounges.

Yes that's what I thougt. That's what Star Alliance website seems to imply but the first time they accepted me and the second time I got denied. Not sure how to approach it next time...

That's not what star alliance website say. Hence the confusion. I have been approved in my first trip.

Davis, what do you think I should do to make sure it does not happen again? Thank you :)

JFK T1 KAL Lounge says "All passengers must hold a boarding pass departing from Terminal 1."

anyone have success getting in with priority pass on arrival assuming the lounge wasn't busy? (arriving in the afternoon, so AF lounge isn't an option). Thanks!

United at EWR.
Should I use united club passes or our Priority Pass?

Same question for United at VCE.

Club passes. PP will not give you access.

But is there a PP lounge that's close enough to use instead?

And in VCE? It looks like neither have lounges there.

The art and lounge is outside of security at EWR. VCE has neither, you are correct.

Out of security is too far away - especially when I have a choice.

Arriving flight into T1, was hoping there's air-side connection within T1 from arrival to departure level to grab some snacks / drinks before continuing the trip home.
