With all due respect, maybe you don't value your neshama like I do mine. Or perhaps you've never been told (or you simply don't believe) that watching cruelty and abuse, whether it be inflicted upon humans or animals, causes a desensitization not only to the actor, but to the viewer as well.

If you think there are no negative ramifications to, for instance, watching a crazed psychopathic, sadistic, megalomaniac placing two baby kittens into a ziplock plastic bag only watch them suffocate due to lack of oxygen, you go right ahead. I won't even mention the other atrocities freely available.
