I am sure this was discussed before but wanted to start a post taking a poll. I like many people here have the blackberry but it looks like we will all eventually switch to Iphone or Android as Blackberry is falling further and further behind the times!!! There are even rumors about Blackberry going off the market for consumers sometime in the future.

Please vote for one and give the reason why (Pros and Cons......).

if you dont know by now which one you want then a poll on ddf will not convince you.
there is to much data and opinion for each side

That's what this forum is all about!!!!! There are many people who are having a hard time deciding and maybe this forum can help them.

So are you saying that anytime there are various opinions it should not be discussed in the forums since u'll get both sides???

Many people will be asking this question and will want to get as much information as possible for both systems. This can be a forum dedicated exclusively to helping these people.

You're going to love the switch from BB!
These points are coming from my Galaxy Nexus phone.

Android Pros:
-Ice Cream Sandwich is a very slick new OS, with significant improvements over older versions.
-The Gmail app is just awesome.
-The ICS keyboard is big, accurate, and excellent at auto-correcting. Within a week you'll be typing faster than with a physical keyboard.
-I never have my phone tethered to the wall. I have a spare battery and spare battery charger so that I never have downtime and when traveling always have 2 spares ready to go when I'm away from plugs. Spares are just $19.
-The Android GPS with Google Maps and POIs can easily replace a real GPS and is incredible for walking directions.
-4G LTE, faster than your home internet connection.
-Free usage as a wifi hotspot=4G anywhere anytime on your laptop.
-Chrome browser is incredible. And you can switch seamlessly between phone and desktop without losing tabs.

Android Cons:
-Not as many Jewish apps as iPhone. Coming from Palm OS this is my one and only complaint.

What are your priorities in a phone? What are you mostly using it 4?

Using it as a modem for free? who offers that?
