Reading alot of the app-o-rama proposals can be really challenging. This seems to be a good concise method. Just copy and paste:

Chase:
Bold: Approved
SP Visa: Pending
UA Personal: Approved

Amex:
Platinum Card (Mercedes): Approved
Business Gold: Approved

Citi:
CitiBusiness AAdvantage: Approved

Barclay:
Lufthansa: Pending

Been through 2 SP, 2 BA, 1 United, 1 freedom.

I read that chase personal and chase biz are two separate entities.

Different pulls. But the same bank. If they approved 2 personal cards today they're not going to approve 2 business cards tomorrow.

I have 4 open, they approved me for one instantly and have been difficult on the other 2. I regret not closing 2 a couple months back.

I read that chase personal and chase biz are two separate entities.
Separate, but business recon is a little more difficult, and in trying to get business cards I've had them say "well we see you've opened up X personal cards in the last 6 months and we're concerned about that".

I have 4 open, they approved me for one instantly and have been difficult on the other 2. I regret not closing 2 a couple months back.

Eh...there's no way to know. I closed down all but one personal card and I still didn't get an instant approval. The first two weren't so hard to get approved, but it's that third that takes some HUCA. Also I had to close one card to get a different one opened (regardless of the CL amount) so having other cards you're ready to close still around isn't necessarily a bad thing. I would keep at least one open with a 5K line you're willing to shut down in exchange for opening a new one.

Depends on what you're looking for. BA is great for short haul flights, Hyatt would be good if you want to stay at an expensive hyatt property. But why not both?

My chances of getting a third card approved are much lower. I already have ink plus, bold, freedom and sapphire. I most probably will apply for both I just have to figure out the order.

I tried the recon. Dept. for the ink. they asked me 100 questions. like, how old is your biz. what is it doing... and so forth... is this normal?

am I suppose to go into detail?

You just have to get the right agent. And having those cards already shouldn't really be a problem. Worst come to worst they ask you to close one to open the other.

It happens.
+1. Business recon asks a lot more questions than personal.

Read through the chase recon thread. Seems like everyone goes through it.
