Reading alot of the app-o-rama proposals can be really challenging. This seems to be a good concise method. Just copy and paste:

I'm thinking about an app with CSP and Hyatt for someone who until now was only an AU. Should i try to push a 3rd thru as well? Or is even this risky?
Chase is known to be tough on people who don't have any (primary) own cards.

You should definitely call. Start with the card that you want most.

Hyatt and CSP
Not sure about the Hyatt (almost sure since it's also a Visa Signature) but on the CSP they require a minimum CL of 5k, I doubt you'll be able to convince them.

Did you apply today?

Hmmm. Well, you can still combine the pulls.

I'd say you should call them up and beg for a tiny CL they'll say that the minimum CL is 5k.

Ask the rep if you apply for the Freedom if  s/he will be able to approve you. S/he'll probably answer that you first have to apply and then they will be able to look at it. Submit an application while you're talking and let her review it.

Don't hold your breath... They're very strict on first time cardholders. Amex should be easier.

PS. The advantage of doing it this way is that the rep will understand the case (if s/he wants to...) and not just look at it like you shot up 3 apps...

Just tried my luck with Amex again, after being FR'd, and my app was sent to the excec back end team :@

Now that I got the pull might as well go for something else. What is the most lucrative non-amex card to throw in? I've never had a citi card before. I'm not within 5/2 rule. Should I try for a chase biz card? Ink? No legit biz though

Or should I go for ritz since I can sell the 2 nights for ~$600? Can you PGGM the $300 TC?

How does that work? You'll get another pull from the other bank...

Sorry I wasn't clear. I know it'll be an additional pull but for housekeeping purposes I like to lump all my pulls into 1 day and spread them apart by 3 months. That seems to be the standard technique in AORs. But it's true that a couple days apart makes no diff. Regardless, I would like suggestions  :D

Thanks

I just applied for the Ink, pending.

Should I throw that in as well? It'll be 2 pulls so I could throw in anything... What about a 2nd biz card? Too hard?
