Reading alot of the app-o-rama proposals can be really challenging. This seems to be a good concise method. Just copy and paste:

I like to get 3 maybe 4 cards at a shot. What is a sufficient amount of time to wait between applications? Is 2 months ok?

Any reason to get that card? It seems that they are not part of the MR program? So it's basically cash back? It would be a great no AF card if it had access to the full MR program.

The card is issued by NFCU, not amex, they only use amex as the payment network but it's issued by a different bank, it has nothing to do with cards issued by Amex themselves.

Correct, but is there any good redemptions with their points?

No, it's basically straight cash back.

Do their CLI work like Amex? If yes then in 8 months you'll have a decent CL or 14 months for a nice one.

Not it's different, after three months you can request a CLI up to $25k.

I've held off from new applications for 2 years to reset with Chase. A slow, measured approach with initial focus to Chase cards under the 5/24 rule, and only then branching out to other Chase products and other banks seems like my best bet. Can anyone confirm this, or otherwise enlighten me?

Thank you.

1. Chase Business cards that fall under 5/24 but won't bring you over. (ie. INK Preferred, Ink Cash, United Business MPE/MPC, SW Business)
2. Chase Personal Cards that fall under 5/24 and will lead you over. (ie. Sapphire Reserve/Preferred, United MPE/MPC, SW Plus/Premier [premium?], Marriott Rewards).

(is more simple, is just IMHO)

3. Once over 5/24 I'd wait some time to hit non-5/24 Chase Cards if you just hit 5/24 cards hard. So rather go for other banks with not such simple restrictions (Ie Barclay, Citi(, BoA?).
4. Then it's a marathon with the rest if the small lenders and Amex, while throwing in some Chase non-5/24 cards moderately.

I'd love to hear opinions of this general plan

That is my plan too. I just went under 5/24

How many of 1 and 2 do you plan on applying for?

Thank you, that was super helpful!
Some questions- How can I easily clarify which products are grouped as a family and preclude my getting a bonus for each, and which ones won't allow me to get a bonus while I have another open?
For example- Can I get the bonus for both Ink Preferred and Ink Cash? And can I get either bonus while I have an Ink Plus open? Can I get a bonus for a Freedom if I have a FU open?
