Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

8h 20m on Boeing 787
3h 55m on Embraer RJ-195
4h 5m on Boeing 737
9h 30m on Boeing 787
All in coach.

If the price is right why not. How much more is the premium economy for your dates?

Price it in orbitz or lot.com. Make sure you can choose those seats. I would do that

But why would it be worth the hassle and the time for ~$125?!

Of course its worthwhile. And its free for the first year.

Assuming its worthwhile to get the Chase Trifecta (I currently have the freedom and am a chase customer) and apply for the Sapphire Preferred, what is the best way to maximize spending - should I be using the Sapphire Preferred (2.14 pts per dollar) or the Freedom (exclusives plus 5x categories)?

Thanks,

Should be able to check the box under your new replies and then select ignore topic.

Do you have to enable the ignore option first? I cant figure out how to ignore a topic.

Ask Chase to transfer your credit line from your United card to one of the other cards. (I would do it to the card you use most)
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

If you get a new credit card with which includes an authorized user do both people get the sign up bonus?
Should the two cards when they arrive have the same credit card number or are they different?
Should I have my wife as an au or should she apply separately
?

1-No, only one signup bonus.
2-You will get two seperate numbers.
3-You only apply for the card once, and add her as an AU on your account.

AU will have the same number unless it's am Amex.
Or unless it's a chase business card.

I've seen the same with a Citi card.
