Ok... so I get the whole "closing a card doesn't affect your credit (aside from the average age of accounts) if you keep the line of credit I.e. transfer it to another card". What happens when you close a (personal) charge card where the line of credit (which shows up as the highest balance on the card and) can't be transfered to another card?

IINM the opinion around here is that closing a charge card is not a problem.

if i transfer a $5000 personal CL or something like that to a new Business CL (to get approved) then close the Business CL will that affect my credit.

Is there a way to check how much how you have spent on the 5% category so far in the quarter? I’d like to hit the $1500 limit but wouldn’t want to overshoot it.

You can checking spending categories though the Blueprint function.

I checked that out and it does have restaurants and gas stations and some others but for this quarter I don't see any option for Amazon purchases?

I have a relative who owns a store in Brooklyn she sells home furnishings and gifts. Recently she began running a weekly deal (i.e. yesterday it was $300 off any couch purchases/orders). The merchandise is good quality and very reasonably priced if I may say so myself. Is it against the forum rules for me to post these deals? Should I post them?

Is there any credit related downside of getting a foreign exchange fee on your chase freedom card? It would be an 87 cent fee but will effect me negatively in any other way?

I have tried to do my research on this I have even gone to the dds seminar and took notes I get most of the cc stuff I can't get a good grasp on the mileage stuff i have posted in other threads but did not get response I am trying to book 2 r/t business/first tickets to blr with amex mr my start point is cle what is the best way to go about this I am fully willing to do the searching just Need a little extra help figuring it out I know I am asking a lot but I really tried to do my research. And followed all jj rules so if someone has the time and patience to help me out I would really appreciate it thanks in advance
