Where/how can I earn about car rentals and discounts/coupons etc.. Not sure how to apply (for example) chabad code or USAA, whats does AAA do? What insurance does Amex cover? Do I need the other? I heard something like booking for the weekend (to get the rate) and then returning it early, only having the car the amount of time wanted. What does being corprate and how do I become corprate etc... all this plus its extremely confusing! pc codes, rate codes Chulu

What does www.carrentalsavers.com do? in one

Is there a location that says what to avoid with MVD in order to not get shut down?
Like is there a "safe limit" to load per day / week / month, and to cash out via CA or MO?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

Beginner question. I have a accumulated a bunch of credit cards and I want to apply for more. Do I close old accounts or apply and ask to transfer the credit line from the old one?

The latter. Use closing them as leverage when you want to get a new card (assuming you're talking about the new and old cards being different cards, though, right?)

Rookie question: Looking to book OW from tlv-NYC for end of month (week of 1/19). I can either 1)book with 40,000 UA miles + fees (~$125) with stopover (no direct floghts showing saver avail) or 2)sell the miles (assuming comes to more than $500) and book on Aeroflot for $500.
Any thoughts? Anyone can refer someone who buys points? Going rate?

I booked 2 tix EWR-LAX on United for mid march and now need to cancel or change the tickets. United says there is a 200 fee per ticket. Are there any possible workarounds to minimize/get rid of fee?

I applied through 2bm to chase sapphire and united mileageplus explorer 2 days ago I still didn't get approved and I just realized that I have a letter from amex offering me 50000 points for opening a premier rewards gold with a rsvp code the q. Is is there any reason to apply for it now or that there is no chance? It expires on Feb. I only started building my credit around 10 month ago. Also if I could I got that letter to my mother in laws adress will they let me open it on my address which is in a different state?

Siblings flew on US Airways in November. Revenue ticket but they didn't add a FF number. Is it to late?

If the flight was within 6 months, you can call and have them credit it to their FF accounts.  They will add AA flights retroactive to 1/7/2014, but not earlier.

I'm trying to get a flight to Israel (stay for one week) from NYC that stops in Paris for one night in July.
I'm trying to use award travel.

Am I crazy?

Could be had on Flying Blue/Air France but don't believe there are saver awards in July - the entire month is probably peak.

My bank (a credit union, pre-DDF) is issuing me a new credit card number in the wake of the Target date compromise. It is the card I've had the longest. Will this restart my credit age?

I was curious on how credit card companies like chase determine a credit line, and if there are different allocations based on the type, for example Freedom vs Sapphire Preferred.  I searched for a post that goes into that, does anyone know if there is one on dd?

Thanks,

yes u can use rvsp even from different address, but when they ask for zipcode then u have to put ur inlaw zipcode, then when it goes to the application page change it to ur address.
IMO the longer u wait the better chance u have, since ur credit pretty new.
If u work for a living, why kill urself working?
