Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

Log in to your UR account, there's an option to book travel on the top left side and you can select car rental.
It gives you a value of 0.0125 cpp

Seems like a terrible option since when paying for it you can usually enter corporate codes of some sort to get the price lowered, plus you would get 2.14ppd for paying with the SP card.

Ok thanks.  I was hoping it had some type of transferability similar to hyatt or airline miles with a rental car agency.  I'd prob. just book on SP.

Not necessarily, I remember finding once pretty good price, didn't end up booking then for some reason, I guess it depends where/when you're renting.

On your 'updated topics' page.  click the box near the topic you want to unfollow and above the column click 'ignore topics'.
Since I assume you're not an ignoramus and have already looked for something like that, I will likewise assume that you son't have boxes to the right of the topics on your updated topics page.  If so, go to your profile > look and layout > Show quick-moderation as  "checkboxes".  Be sure to click "change profile" at the bottom of the page.

I think it would be helpful if this thread and the one about the  rules of the forum was posted on the main DDF page.  I think that n00bs make new threads without reading this thread and the rules of the forum

I just got approved for British Airways SP and Barclay's Arrival, altogether that's $9000 to get all the bonuses. The problem with the traditional GCtoBB  is that I live in Brooklyn so there aren't any WMs nearby and I don't think evolve would help because I don't really have any expenses aside for phone bills. Can anyone help?

Find a Walmart outside of brooklyn. There are many that still work beautifully. Good luck.

You are definitely right, the problem is that it isn't easy to find threads you need when you need them and most first timers don't know how to Google search a specific thread
