Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

with regards to UR, they allow transfers to airlines, and they also have an option to transfer to someone else's UR account, but by transfering to another persons UR account, you are asking for trouble. so when selling UR, make it clear to the broker that you only want the points transferred to an airline and NOT to someone else's UR account. and as i said, i did this with "sell miles now" in august and they were very easy to deal with about it.
Regarding AA or United miles, they just book a flight using your miles
I have no idea about MR, i have never sold MR to someone (i assume its the same as UR?)

I am doing INK to INK transfers for as long as I can remember, and never BH had an issues. I sold over 2 million UR points so far this year, it's the safest way.

Basic Question - I've been searching the forums but haven't found a clear answer.  Amex Membership Rewards: Is it only transferable into certain carrier's miles, or can it be cashed out similar to Chase UR points?

You can redeem for statement credits which is essentially like cash. 20,000 for $100. Don't do it. And next time text me bro ;)

They don't mail you a check. They do offer GC's. but why would you want to cash it out ?

Read the most recent pages. Search while you're in a particular thread & the results should be only from that thread.
