Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

I have a $1600 for a home repair that I can either pay in check or using credit card (Chase UR).
However, to use CC there's a 2% convenience fee.....should I pay the fee and get points or just use a check?

Depends. You are talking about a $32 fee vs. 1600 UR.

I have seen this posted somewhere but I searched everywhere and I can't find it.
I know someone who is running a business that certain bills do not accept CC'S I'm estimating that all together he is paying around 100,000 $ in checks or banks deposits which is a big shame since that can be a lot of miles.
Going to buy gift cards does not make sense at all in this case since they are for very small amounts compare to what he needs.
Is there anyway to get miles for all these dollars or at least pat of them?
