Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

I saw that some of my cards (other then chase cards) have an expiration date. To extend the expiration date (and show productivity) do I need to just swipe my card or does there need to be activity with the points on the card (i.e. receive a magazine for points).

If you're referring to your card expiring, they'll send you a new one. If you're referring to points expiring, swiping your card will earn new points which extends the expiration date.

Then swipe & you're fine. People go the magazine route when they've already closed an airline card & the points are going to expire. So there's no option to swipe & earn points.

how long after downgrading my Chase SP can I reapply to get the signup bonus again?

3-5 days should be enough.
It will be very tough to get 3 of the same card approved.

this could be posted on a few threads, im not sure which one
i hit my spending threshold on chase BA card, largely in part due to the staples gift card Constant contact thing. if in a month, it becomes nothing and i dispute the charge, will chase be pissed at me, since its like a case of returning merchandise to get the bonus?

You should probably spend more factoring in the return.

this isnt a $200 difference
it quite a bit more spending. but i still have like 2 months to do it. i try to avoid chase loading of redcard bc they are annoying, so ill have to find other expenses to pay

I tend to almost only use Chase for RC with close to no issues. Isnt BA 2k in spend total thats needed?

yes
but i have been using spg for RC and it causes basically no issues. plus, the BA is in my wifes name, so if there are issues, i need to get her on the line and bother her. ill probably be able to spend the money in the next 2 months anyway, bc ill have some things to pay, so i guess ill just do that
