Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

Keep in mind, it's 12 months from when you originally booked and not 12 months from when you cancel.

Does it work to rebook a flight for less miles? Meaning if you booked a standard award for 45K can you then rebook a saver award for 25K? Do you still have to rebook using the other 20K also?

If someone had a platinum card then called Amex and switched it to brg w/o getting the bonus. Is there any way to still get the bonus? If he switches back to platinum and then again to brg, will be get the bonus? Since he nvr got the bonus to begin with?

I have BA, freedom, SP. I want to close BA and re-open (churn) when I can. Should I close card or transfer CL over to another card? How long do I have to wait from the time of closing/transferring CL to re-opening CC?
