Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

I am opening a DBA now. Not too much money going through the account. What bank should I open (has to be able to open online) and is it worth it for me to open a new cc for it? Also,  should the cc be under my name or the business name?

Some mail offers say "not valid for people who had this card in the last 12 months". That's the language people refer to. If an offer doesn't have it, it's more valuable.

most biz plat offers that Coke in the mail have a language printed on them stating that if you got the bonus within the last 12 months you are not eligible for another bonus. Some offers do not have this language and can be used within 12 months of having gotten an offer bonus, this makes them more valuable.

It seems like all the gift card churning posts and conversations deal with cards in pre-set denominations. Do the 5% rewards (Chase Ink at office supply stores, Chase Freedom on rotating categories) work for the $25-$500 cards that you select the amount on? Anyone have success or failure on this? Would be great to only pay the surcharge every $500 instead of every $200.

I got denied for the freedom and sapphire a little more than a month ago because of 5/24. Do I have a chance of getting approved for the marriot card from chase now?

Yes. It seems that Co-branded cards can still be approved even if 5/24.
