Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

If it's available on the flight you flying then you can get it. But you have to pay 10% of the fare for the infant.

I'm iyh booking travel to Israel now with a pregnant DW bh, so I'm wondering if I should be cautious and get travel insurance mainly for health insurance. What does everyone here think? And does booking the flight on a chase sapphire proffered card help at all? TIA

Many travelers insurance companies won't cover pregnancy unless you buy insurance before the pregnancy occurs

CMIIW but I thought that US based companies are not allowed to consider pregnancy as a pre-existing condition. In that case, shouldn't they cover?

You can definitely make some calls and see if anyone has something to offer you. It's probably worth having it to be safe. Saphire card probably won't help at all for that.

Don't believe that's true. I definitely got when my wife was pregnant and they have a limit to how far into the pregnancy and maybe it's more the farther she is. But I've called another place on another trip and they also had a plan for someone that's pregnant.
