Currently planning a trip to Hawaii using UR points. How do I check availability on Hawaiian airlines? Interested in transferring 30k to Korean to book on Hawaiian. (this is if I cant find availability for Korean--> delta). Thanks for the help!

You can also transfer to Singapore Airlines to book on United.

Hi! thanks for the reply. Yep i am aware of that, thats currently third on my list. My list is 25k korean-->delta, 30k korean--> hawaiian and 35k singapore-->united. I know how to check delta and united for availability, how do i check hawaiian?

Someone asked me to book a ticket for them. He would not be able to fly if his wife has a baby before he goes (it would be 3 weeks early). Would CSP cover that and refund the ticket? Also, the info he would have is in Hebrew so for a claim would that make a difference?

When signed into Hawaiian you can check miles availability. If it's available for 40k in J/F then it should be available for partners.

When does Amex pull money out of my bank for the payment?
If payment is due today(to Amex), and there is not enough $$ in bank account.
Funds will be available Tomorrow in Bank.
Will i get fee from my bank, or will the payment process Tomorrow?

wow this is a tough question. I always like to play it safe and make sure the $ is in the account before I make the payment. But the payment always seems to be deducted the next day. (but who knows maybe they ask the bank the same day if the funds are available and if not bounce the payment back) With amex once you are flagged with a bounced back payment it will really hurt your account so I wouldnt risk it.

If you were never late you can pay 1 day late and call up and they will remove the late fee from you

I pay right before the cutoff time for that day. (7EST, 8EST depending on the bank) Then it never gets taken out same day.

Even when I pay early on in the day it never gets taken out, but who knows maybe they verify it that day and if they see that there are no funds they bounce the payment

Apparently I had an autopay scheduled but it didn't go through, Amex called me that they tried it 3 times (3 diff days) before cancelling the payment. So they might just try again if the $ isn't there. YMMV
