Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

Not sure where else to post this ... Canceled two paid tickets on AA (party of 4) due to hospitalization of 1 of the passengers (grandmother), plus her caretaker.  CSR told me that in order to then request a refund, I needed to email AA through the customer service portal online.

Anyone know of a quicker, more efficient way to ensure a refund, and also to provide the doctor's note that I have?  I have a feeling the portal will result in a form letter apologizing but saying there's nothing they can do.
