Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

So you'd rather transfer 10k UR into 3K UA through IHG then 10k direct to 10k UA?

Does 2bm still work with Chase? If I apply for two personal cards at the same time, would that only be one credit pull?

As long as its the same day, the pulls combine, it doesn't need to be 2bm

IIRC all personal accounts, both CCs and checking/savings accounts are automatically linked. To link to a business account, chase has to do it for you.

Link it to a business card account. When you close the business card it will have its own login. That is the best I can come up with.

The entire personal login transfers. You can't link just one personal card, AFAIK.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I have two business logins. One has just the IP and the other has just the Hyatt after I cancelled an IP. Not sure how it ended up that way. My personal has Hyatt and United.

Interesting. Did you get the united after adding the Hyatt? I think years ago you were able to add accounts to a business login online, but now the only way to do it is manually merging the logins.

Both around two years ago. I never had to call to add them. Just did it online. That is probably why.

They changed their system. The option to add online is still there, but it errors out when you try to use it. When you call, they ask tons of verification questions. They must have had an issue with fraud in the past.

Does anyone know anything about reconsideration for a gap card?
Friend of mine just tried to start building his credit through them?
Any info/links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
