How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

I didn't realize it was possible to gift Hyatt awards through the app. Is this a new feature? I'm interested because I recently lost status (Globalist, to Explorist, and now lowly Discoverist), but planning on going on vacation Spring 2025 so interested in purchasing some upgraded awards.  I know there is a separate forum dedicated to buying and selling awards, but not sure what the proper strategy is. I would need an award that doesn't expire 2/28/2025 (since traveling after that date). Is it better to wait until later to get a better price? Or is it advantageous to get the award now so I can make sure it is valid on my travel dates.  Does Hyatt limit the redemption of or cap the number of awards that can be redeemed? If so, then I would be willing to pay extra to get the award now vs waiting till later.

Do I need to worry about mail box full in messages?  I'm new here and it currently states "1 message, 100% Full".  Don't want to lose messages...

If you want to be able to receive another message, keep it empty for now.
After  you have some posts here (IDK how many) your inbox is no longer limited.
