How to ask a question in this thread:

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

Is there a thread covering additional AU cards?  I have lots of questions that I'm sure are already answered somewhere (how many can you have?  whose name do you put them in?  can you get them in your own name?) but I can't find a thread covering it.

Yes, I see that now.  I was searching "additional AU" and that wasn't coming up with that thread (not in the initial hits, at least.)  Apparently less is more when searching the forums...noted!  :)

Right, I always read "AU" as "authorized user", so in my head I was thinking "additional authorized user" cards.  I partially blame my lack of thinking clearly on the fact that my toddler kept me up most of the night last night, but I'm also still a complete n00b in a lot of areas, despite being a reader of the main site and forums for quite a while now.  Thanks everyone for the help!

You can downgrade to Green, but still a $95 fee.

That's a ymmv some get some not. But you have to spend $1 if you would be getting.

Might be worth keeping the platinum and doing the pggm next year again then all you pay is $50 then downgrade
