Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

This isn't really the right forum for this topic. Nobody (or almost nobody) here looks at the interest rates when they get a card. Try CreditBoards forum (also on Tapatalk), I think you'll do better there.  Best wishes.
Everything is covered on DDF. :)
It's been brought up several times.

So did I, but this topic isn't really the main focus of ddf.
Where are you getting this from? Is there a charter or a constitution somewhere?

So did I, but this topic isn't really the main focus of ddf.

considering the 6,000+ directions of DDF, it would be interesting to list the top 10 "main focus" points of DDF. Even more fun would be to see how many off-topic tangents can come from that...

reports are that there is a fee free card to downgrade to. Did you try getting the AF waived? and if you have a different chase card you can transfer the CL.

Forex, priority boarding, primary rental insurance, from what I remember. I asked about my miles staying alive and the rep said they will but I don't know if she knows what she's talking about. Didn't asked about award space though...

Just stumbled upon this post;
Between SQ going bankrupt, LX and AF restricting F class, LH and JJ cutting back F, MH selling A380s, AS shutting everyone down, DL, UA, and Amtrak going revenue, I think I'm going cash back.
I guess there are other factors involved which has convinced them to go CB...

Hover over the expiration date and see if it says "Thank you for being a Chase MileagePlus cardmember. Your miles will not expire as long as your credit card account is active, your annual membership fee has been paid and the card is not in default. Upon cancellation of your credit card account, your miles will expire in accordance with the MileagePlus program rules."
And search a flight that only has XN availability and see if it's available for you.
