Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

i have a united explorer card for a year and i dont want to pay the af but i want to preserve my 15,000 credit limit. trued calling asking for a downgrade and they said the only thing they have is a card with a $60 af.

does anyone know if there really is something else to downgrade to? and if not can a rep open for me a freedom card or something like it or do i have to fill out the form myself?

You can move the CL over to a different Chase card.
A rep can fill out an app over the phone, but it will be a lot faster for you to apply online.

You can apply for a new card and move the CL over.

Quick question I just got the biz plat and the AF just posted I don't want to keep the card...Is it better to completely cancel the card or shud I downgrade. If I shud downgrade wat card shud I do it too? Thanks

Did your bonus points post? Once they do, cancel or Downgrade,  and get a prorated af back

Remove it under the "More Account Options" tab and then create new login on main page. You can also go back under that same tab and add the card and select new login.
