Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

Just received a phone call that I must go to a bank and fax in a notarized document with my Id.  Is this normal? Ot the beg. Of a f/r?

I called chase to close my BA card and I sais I wanted to move the CL to a different card and they said, they can move all of it except 1,000. is that normal? The rep said it happens and sometimes it 1000 and sometimes 500, she is not sure why but lending might be able to get around it. Thoughts?

I've had that.  Did you tell her you want to close the BA card.  Pay off any balance on the card. and HUCA.

FWIW I once had a chase rep tell me that they could only move the entire CL if I didn't use the card for 90 days before closing it.

Hi I'm using someone else's ba account to book a ba flight via tam airlines from Toronto to jfk and after the payment it.says can't book it call up please would I be able to call up with just their name and executive number?

no.  BA will ask for some identifier of the account holder.  Address, secret question..
