No reason to make it so complicated. Many look at your sure as being primarily a travel blog and in many ways it is. To them all of the Amazon deals are unwanted noise. The question of separating travel related deals keeps coming up over and over again and makes much more sense than separating into a thousand categories.

I see no compelling reason to believe that people would be satisfied with a Twitter account for just flight deals.
IMHO it's ain l'dovor sof until we design something with custom push notifications to differentiate between domestic, Israel, international, hotels, mileage flight space, etc as they are currently categorized.

I presume you have much more insight into this as it's your business, but I think there is a clear differentiation between travel and shopping deals. I don't think there is a need for such customization. If someone wants Israel deals or points posts or Miami deals, they'll just have to live with getting notifications for all travel posts. Definitely a huge step forward from having to get all posts. TPG and I believe other bloggers have separate accounts for travel/deal alerts. Again, I concede to you in knowing what's better for your business or what's worth the investment, but I do think that having a separate account for travel-only posts would be really nice.

I made a whatsapp group for informative posts only. Any time there's a tweet that's not something for sale, it gets posted to the group.

Even flight deals are not posted, unless it's an obvious glitch.

Only a few people are signed up for Twitter notifications. And they're the ones who post to the group.

If there would be a Twitter for just those posts, it would be awesome.

You don't really need separate accounts, just using a keyword like travel/deal in the tweet that automation services like ifttt can parse and depending on keyword forward the tweet as a text or not.

You did not need to satisfy everyone and to try would be futile. You can satisfy a large group of ddfers by separating travel deals.

I could, and it would work most of the time, only that one time I'll miss a glitch that gets me to Hawaii for 4 points because ifttt didn't pick up one of my arbitrary keywords.

Any post that is not a "deal", gets posted.

Even your random personal posts get posted as a lo plug.

Maybe a poll on DDMS could show you which options people would want, then you'll know if it's feasible to satisfy a percentage that would make it worthwhile.

But seriously, While there are definitely many ppl that only want notifications about travel deals I wonder if creating a travel deals Twitter account won't lower web traffic for DDMS.
