Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

Hi guys. Im new here. I want to start selling on ebay, i have no experience at all. The ebay thread in General Discussion has 169 pages and not sure if it will help me. Does anyone know a more specific place for me to look to get more info?
Thank you

If I want to quote to posts into my post, I click on the first and then get about the latest 15 posts under that with the option Insert Quote.

But if I want to add a quote from further back or from a different thread, what is the real way to do that?

Currently, I open a new tab and Quote into a new post, and then copy paste into the original post open in my first tab.

Yeah it's annoying but it works.
This would be easier on a PC.

One tip... you can go back to an earlier page, tap quote then preview and then insert a quote from the latest page

Yes it's annoying, I'm sure a button allowing your to scroll to older posts can be implemented some way at some point in time.

No. Will cost you additional, only works for Domestic.

I'm assuming you're referring to the UME card?

But if you have another person on  your reservation, he gets 1 free bag, too.

That still has nothing to do with the cc. That's to do with the ticket allowing for one checked bag.

So yes each passenger would allow for one bag. While a 2nd bag would be limited to a flight in the US.

I'm not sure what thread to be asking this in but it's kind of urgent.

On 6/4 I booked 2 ow seats on JB  fll-ewr on 6/30. The cost on Jetblue was $383 per ticket so I booked it through Chase SP for 60K UR.  Now I'm seeing the same flights on JB for $184.  1. Will Chase let me cancel the flights?  or 2. Would they  credit me for the difference like I might have got through JB?
TIA

Start at Chase and ask about crediting the difference. Be sure to tell them that it's JB policy.  If they won't, see if they'll allow you to cancel under the new Covid allowances.  If so, cancel and book new.

When I press Home on the top left corner it previously went to the list of boards. Over the past few days it's been going to a page with the list of users online. Anyone else having this issue?
