Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

While still figuring out how that corporate code would work with priceline, I have one more question: in general, which travel site or agency gets the cheapest rates for car rentals? What was the experience of you all with that?
I'm looking for dead CHEAP.

I've gotten some great rates with Avis using various corporate codes. And Enterprise.

IF you're looking for cheap and waived underage try Priceline! Just enter in crazy low rates and I believe underage is included as long as you mention your age.

IME what I've seen people do is put there wife on for 3 seconds to verify it's her account and then she gives you her husband full permission to discuss all the details for her. If that's not possible I don't see how they can say you aren't a women just based on common sense.

If she has a Jewish name which they won't recognize as female you're good to go. If she is a Sarah or something like that you'll have problems

Take them as long as they want. Different question I've had different wait times. a week is tops usually. There is an idea of SM that Dan suggested to me in a thread, although it didn't work in that case. It's an easy match though that many people have been doing. I haven't heard anyone denied recently. You should be fine. See that cards thread for details.

they divide the annual fee by the time you used the card.
say annual fee is $100 and you used it a month you pay 8.33 etc.
I'm just say'in©®

The chase hyatt cc gets you two nights after first spend. How do you get those "nights"? Is it a certificate that comes with the statement?
