Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

they should move it over for u, but i would suggest applying for 3 chase cards 3 bm , and ifbu don't get approved move over the line of credit to those cards , which works !

@davidch

This depends on who you ask.

Most people say to wait 3-6 months... I would personally wait 6 months to be safe.

I had a sort of easy time. I had to HUCA for both chase cards I applied to due to short credit history and small CL. But got excepted to both. For Amex for instant approval for MB plat and and SPG.

i didn't get no FR or A/A. I guess it depends on what you purchase and the amount spent.

just checked my credit score

im from ca and all my pulls were from experian
however it seems to be less pulls then what i applied for in the past 2 years. do they sometimes not have a pull?

also even though i had 5 pulls listed on ex in the past 2 years. my ex was a few points higher then eq.
in the explanation ex listed how much credit i have as a positive point. the other 2 didnt mention it. could this be offsetting the negative of hard pulls?

last q' - how long does it take for a late payment to fall off

thanks

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

Would writing a higher income $200,000+ on a chase application be any reason to not receive an instant approval?
