Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

If I apply for both the PRG and Platinum cards at the same time will I get the bonus for both of them? I've never had either of them.

SM Chase. Should end up with 55k (5k for AU) and $50 statement credit not sure if still offering).

You can say you saw it offered or heard it was offered and would like to get matched. Same spend.

I would like to go to Miami for about 6 nights at the end of Jan with my wife and 3 children. I could book a corner suite at the Westin Diplomat for 120,000 points. Is this a crazy waste of SPG points? Would it be better to sell those points and book something else? I need a large room to fit 2 adults and 3 children. Thank you.

Did you try checking? Expedia? Orbitz? To get an idea. It will vary depending on your dates.

Try AirBnB.com  Doubt points can be used, but you'll get suites of condos at good prices depending on area and amenities

The Westin is a nice hotel. You'll definitely be happy there. If you want to stay somewhere not as nice I'm sure you could get a suite. But maybe you'd rather not.
