Still way better than Elal's (Hamasbia?) food, IMO...

For me, LY price is usually $200 - 300 more. The service is nice, but I recall getting more respect as a religious passenger on other airlines.

Not necessarily insulted but definitely shown a lack of respect and courtesy, and not just me but all the frum families in my section of the plane. The funny thing was that at the end of the flight the one non Jewish couple there couldn't stop thanking the FA's while the frum ones couldn't wait to get off the plane and get away from them. I thought about filing a complaint and even took down the name of one really nasty FA, but being that's it's elal I didn't bother wasting my time.

im on a phone so its hard to get in all the quotes.
- Hermolis food IMHO is def better then anything i ever tasted on elal, but
1) I never flew coach and tasted hermolis.
2) I dont really like any airplane food.

-I have seen elal cheaper then UA as well as DL, plenty of times

-I was once on a flight ewr-tlv the FA knew Yiddish and was (rightfully) screaming (literally) at a few chassidim to "zetzigavek"
(HelpMe - translation: verb zets-ih-ga-vek to sit down :) ) I was shocked that she knew yiddish, but not that she scream at the passenger.

+1 Although i have found sometimes LY being cheaper then ua delta etc. or if flying from the UK they are always cheaper then BA.
But i learned my lesson the hard way and i would never ever fly elal again. they are the worst airline in the industry (incl ryanair easy jet and spirit etc) i would pay $300 more to fly with anyone else and would rather stop over anywhere not to fly with them
