The M45 is gonna be yesterdays car come April and the new M56
The Benz E is for grandmothers
and the 5 series is due for a revamp and it will cost u around 55k to get in a 535 with 4 wheel drive and loaded....

The A6 is sleek sophisticated and less common...the new 3 liter engine is efficient yet powerful and can be leased for less then 650 and you can buy it and it hold its value well.

Well then I recommend it for all the fake drivers out there ;)...I drove it and loved it and think its very classy.

The 5 is alright, but a little more and I think its due for a revamp.

Type of car? What are your needs?
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

I'm not sure I understood that question. Starting MSRP of base model is $49,345

Any owners of '05/'06 Honda Odyssey's here?

Wondering what you think about these models.

A dealer who seems honest tells me they last very well.

Please excuse my ignorance but...
Do you think one with ~150k miles for ~$5k is a good deal?
What about ~230k for ~$3k?

I never imagined buying used cars this old, but the current market has gone completely off the charts.

I welcome general thoughts on this matter as well.

TIA

I would take the former over the latter.

I'm not convinced the 150k would be better than the 230k.

I happen to think that a Sienna with 344k miles is the best option.

Not sure where u located, but you can get them on craigslist for cheaper.
Also, once u pass the 200k mark, there's no way to tell how much life u have left. No mechanic can tell u. Depends on how well the car was maintained.
