When I put in my login info it says "Connecting to server" and that's where I get stuck,

I'm no pro at these things, is there one server responsible for signing in to all forums which is what I am blocked from?
If yes, does Tapatalk classic use a different server and that's why I am able to sign in to the forum when using the classic version?
