Tried searching in here for problems with "participated" but only found very little.

What is the logic on which the "participated" tab operates? Sometimes the newest unread ones go to the top but certain threads when unread will have a blue circle but will be somewhere in the middle of the bunch. I would love for all "new responses" within "participated" to all always go to the top but that is clearly not happening.
