Disclaimer: The following were attempted before I got married. Would never dream of doing them with a wife and baby!

Drove from Berkeley to Los Angeles in middle of the night. Averaged about 100 MPH the whole way. (we made a few stops) Took less than 5 hours! (avg time is over 6 hours.) This was before they started revoking your license (or at least I like to tell myself that!)

Drove from Dead Sea to Jerusalem the long way (not through West Bank) in less than an hour. Went between 140-180 KPH (as traffic permitted). Left about 2 hours before shabbos and thought we might just make it, ended up taking a long hot shower! (I was shocked to read on the forums that someone actually got a speeding ticket in Israel, didn't think they did those.)

Same Here I have done that trip in 55 min a handful of times.

I also have drove from Jerusalem to Eilat in 2 Hours 45 Min with a Getz, and once with a Mazda 3

I have drove from Meiron to Jerusalem in under 2 Hours on Lag B'omer night :)

I have drove from Monsey to Cleveland in 6 Hours and many other times in record timing

But now I got enough tickets and finally slowed down ;)

the craziest drive for me would be when we drove to Alaska. we went to Edmonton Canada first for 5 days to see the Canadian Rockies. then drove to Haines Alaska, took the ferry to Juneau and tented for 9 nights! highly recommend driving through Alaska, this way you can stop where you want hike and do the local stuff you can never experience on a ship.... total 6000 miles and 3 weeks.

also there was one time when someone from my yeshiva (we will leave the name out for this story) in new jersey got married in toronto, so we rented three brand new avalons and 15 guys headed out at 3am (the wedding was an afternoon wedding on the following day). Well one of the other drivers decided that he is going to make it there for the 8am shacharis.... we did. I'm not proud as i succumbed to the peer pressure of the other drivers and the other guys in the car, but we drove at 134mph (the governer kicked in at 135) the entire way only slowing when the radar detector beeped and made it in just over 5hrs. I consider this one of the stupidest and most immature actions of my life, but i can tell you the thrill and adrenaline rush is unimaginable.

People! Slow Down!
Life is way too precious!

I can't say I never speed but is it really worth it ?!

There is definitely a precedent for this type of thread to be in it's respective (e.g. flying, tech etc.) board rather than JS.

The beauty of a V1.. Back in the day I did Lakewood to Monsey in about 50 minutes. Palisades from GWB to exit 11 in about 15 min (cruising at 115 I kid you not). Eventually I got pulled over at gunpoint (I KID YOU NOT).

I've done Berkeley - LA in about 5 hours without really speeding. Though it did take me a few years to figure out that not wasting time with stops is a far better way of getting there quicker than making up the wasted time speeding...

I once took 8 hours getting from scranton pa to lakewood. That's usually a little under three hours but I got caught in a blizzard. Bh for gps. Scranton is in the mountains and the roads curve a lot. If not for my gps I wouldn't have known where I was going. I hoped it was accurate and followed it exactly because I was traveling blind
