On an award  flight from TLV, I may change it that day if something better opens up.
Will I pay the change fee if I have the PP card?

If yes, I've read here that the callback line will waive fees sometimes, is there a way to call that desk directly?

Why not let them call you.

Just wanted to make sure my info is correct. Within 24hrs of booking I can cancel a United reward ticket for 100% refund on miles and fees?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

What's the deadline for canceling a united award ticket (not flying united metal) and get the miles credited back to account?

Questions.  Booked an international award flight before the June policy change.  Just standard A->B->A R/T

a) If I wanted to prepend a domestic C->A (outside of 21 day window), would that cost me $75?
b) If I were to do (a), would my change policy now reflect the new change policy or still be the old one.
c) If I did (a) and flew the C->A leg, but now need to change the dates for A->B->A, is that allowed and will that cost any extra change fees (assuming A->B is over 21 days away)?

I believe the answers are a) $75; b) old; and I'm guessing c) not allowed.

Thanks

So I talked to a couple United agents and they gave me different answers.  However, I hope the following is true:
a) Yes, $75.  Change in origination or destination causes a $75 fee.
b) Itinerary locks into original booking policy.  Regardless of changes to itinerary, it is grandfathered in.
c) Once an itinerary is underway, you can make date changes to the remaining itinerary with no additional fees.  Assuming that the award fare is available.

And now I've called a couple times since to see if I could get consistent answers, and sadly, no.
One lady (from the callback number) adamantly claimed that even on the old policy, any date change to the itinerary regardless of the 21 days would cost $75 (so I hung up on her as quick as I could).
One lady told me that once i change my ticket, I no longer have the old policy's fees.  And also that if I try to change my return flight after already flying the outbound, I will be subject to the same fee as a not yet flown date change. (this was through the standard UNITED1 number).
I also tried the Around the World Alliance desk and their answer was somewhere in between the two above.

Ugh.  Can anyone recommend a good number to call to get the most knowledgeable United reps on this matter and also when the best time to call is?  I'm guessing calling in the wee hours of the night is probably not the right time. =(

I'm trying to cancel an award ticket, is there any way to get around the 200 fee? for redepositing the miles into account?

A and B are true. I believe C is as well.

Wait for UA to change the timing of the flights by a few mins (or more), and then request a free redeposit.

My mother has a flight to LIH that was added on to a flight she took to Israel back in February.   Right now it's also booked for February but is there a limit of how far I can keep changing it out?

TIA

All travel must be complete within one year of departure.

Ok-  I have a ticket I added on to a flight to Israel that began last December and it's set for February.

Does that mean the rule isn't so enforced?

Did the agent just make a mistake? It wasn't originally booked that way. I just called to change it a few months ago.

1 year rule is loosely enforced.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
