This is the story I had 5 nights booked in the PHP for June 2 nights using the free suite nights from hyatt card and 3 from points. Something came up and I needed to change the hotel stays for 1 week later but there was not availability in the park queen which is the room which points book into. The hotel said since the room one category up was available what they could do is still use the points and charge me the difference which is 120 euro a night. I said fine lets do that for right now and I will keep looking for the availability to open. The hotel emailed me a new conformation.
But they also refunded me the 66k points that were supposed to be used. They are now back in my Hyatt account. Do you think they will realize and take them back or do you think I just made myself a free 66k
