Weird message on Delta.com. typical?

I booked someone out of my Delta account. After the booking it said: please bring down the credit card to the airport together with photo ID, so that we can verify the credit card transaction, etc...

Anyone else had this. Does this mean trouble?
I'm really afraid since I didn't get the e-ticket yet, and Delta usually issues that instantly. But, online it looks like it's booked.

Anybody with more info?

Ok, just spoke to a Delta rep. reason is because she was booked to a country in Africa which is on a high fraud alert, and therefore they need to verify that she's the account holder.

Credit card. They are suspecting these africans to steal credit cards and book tickets. And therefore they do this even to revenue tickets.

Used the passengers credit card.
I once read on TPG about something similar where the account holder had to go down to the airport for that reason, and since then I started using passengers credit card when booking Delta.

Trying to go through with gift card purchase on delta, confirmation page comes up as "That page isn't on our radar" message. Anyone else have this issue?

I recently had with a Flying Blue award booking (o/w NCL - TLV on KL), where it told me at checkout that my booking is a bit complex and I should call AF to confirm. I called and they said that I needed to come down to the airport to pay at a KL desk. I literally thought the guy was out of his mind. But I HUCA'd and the second agent said the same thing. It seems I needed to put the pax. name as the card holder, and not the FB account holder's name. You live and you learn....
