Technically you need to walk outside from the hotel to get to the Chabad. While it's attached to the hotel, I am unaware of any way to enter Chabad directly from the hotel.

Thanks.

Is there an eiruv in HNL?

Also, if I have to go outside anyways, what is the general consensus as to the best hotel to stay at to be near Chabad for Shabbos?

No eruv.
Most hotels are within walking distance, just depends on your budget/points.

Assuming points and budget isn't an issue, what would you recommend?  Thanks.

Ok - guess that's the spot for me if we can figure out how to get my little guy over to Chabad.  Are there people to hire to push a stroller or is a 1.3 mile hike too much to expect?

Although its not my preference, DW wants to stay in HNL for Shabbos so we can daven and eat with Chabad.  I'd rather run off right away for the fun stuff.

I'll answer my own question - Chabad recommended Ilikai condos as being close to them.  We booked thru waikiki beach rentals.  Although there is an electronic lock on the condo, they put us in touch with housekeeping who will lend us a metal key for shabbat.  Don't know yet about the stairs and whether there is a light that goes off automatically.

Will be there in august as well. My kid can walk such a distance, staying in ala Moana hotel for convenience. Don't want to walk in the heat for 20 min before, after meal in shabbes clothing
Checking in friday, leaving sunday to maui, I think there is no point in staying at a fancy hotel, that's further away for shabbes
